Wanderlust-inspired contemporary artist Ria Bruns is a former business owner living in Atlanta, Georgia. Bruns discovered her passion for art after taking her first class in 2012, and she hasn’t stopped painting since. 

Intensely curious, Ria Bruns’ style is ever-evolving. Inspired by Jackson Pollock, Joan Mitchell, Chris Groves, Jerry McLaughlin and Rebecca Crowell, Bruns incorporates her international experiences in her representational paintings; however, she exudes her emotions through her abstract works. Her goal is to incite curiosity, share feelings and spark intellectual growth with her work. 

Ria’s work has been juried into multiple Grandview Gallery (Atlanta) shows, the Gilmer County (GA) Arts Gallery, The Booth Western Art Museum’s Annual Membership Exhibit and its Downtown Gallery in Cartersville, Georgia.
